Taking on any form of exercise regularly is as good for our minds as it is for our bodies, proven to produce happy hormones, like dopamine and serotonin, and help to stave off illness. It is also the ticket to conquering-or at least easing-more severe mental health issues, like depression, as well.

Let's face it: on some level, working out is on all of our New Year's resolutions lists. Whether it's vowing to join a local gym, taking more group fitness classes or even signing up for a pickle ball match, fitness is the most popular mandate for 2024.
